This will obviously be dependent on the size of the room. To squeeze more storage space out of your wardrobe, you may want to consider buying a childrens wardrobe that has storage drawers as well. Also look at the hanging space internally - are there two rails, or one?
Choosing the colour is the best place to start. First, you need to establish if you would like just one colour, or something more funky, with more than one colour. Plain coloured wardrobes are obviously easier to find, both on and offline. They will also be a more practical buy, as a smooth, plain wooden wardrobe, or a crisp and clean white one, will go with almost all colours of bedding. Remember, if you choose a two-tone, or multicoloured childrens wardrobe, you will be limited in the colour of bedding you can choose. Perhaps its best to have the wardrobe, and other furniture, as the blank canvas, and to add splashes of colour with cushions, bedding and other goodies. Also remember, a pink wardrobe cant be handed down to your next child if its a boy, and vice versa.
Wardrobes can be a small corner in the house or a room large enough for us to walk in and get ready there. A wardrobe can comprise of multiple sections meant for keeping in various things. While one section can handle your cosmetics, the other can take care of your bags. Parents to be or first-time parents do a great deal of research about nursery furniture and bring home the best for their little bundle of joy. However, not many of them pay the right amount of attention when buying a wardrobe. The most common mistake they commit is that they bring home a wardrobe that would work fine only in those baby years and would become useless when their little one would grow into a toddler. Nursery wardrobes are usually shorter than the standard ones and are not great for long-term use. So, a wardrobe should be of a size that it stays with the baby when he/she grows into a young child.
